About me
Hello. I’m Kat Paull.
I have a corporate background and hold a Bachelor of Management Studies (honours) with double majors in finance and economics. I have extensive experience in the financial services industry having worked for over 10 years in London and Sydney. But my real passion is the written word, and a large part of my corporate roles was writing and editing staff development plans, performance reviews, procedural documents, reports, business requirement documents, project plans and technical specifications etc.
When my youngest child started school, it was the perfect time to gain a formal qualification marrying together my love of language and my detail-oriented personality. It made sense to get a formal qualification for what I had been doing in my corporate roles for years. This led me to gaining a Diploma in Editing – with excellence – from the New Zealand Institute of Business Studies and set me on an unstoppable path of starting my own business doing what I love – helping others achieve their goals by elevating the quality of their written work.
I am a busy wife, mum of four children and am based in rural Karaka, 35kms out of Auckland.
